I'm not sure what your definition of domesticated is. I would consider Ostrich as being domesticated if they are in captivity, considered a government inspected food source, have been studied and defined as to proper diet, marketable products produced, known handling techniques, etc. In many ways Ostrich mirror the cattle industry, which of course is domesticated.

Hi, I'm doing a project for school and I need to know an aprox. answer on how long it would take to fully domesticate the entire species of the ostrich. Does anyone know how long it could take?
